I was wanting this tea infuser from Bodum and hate to have to order things and wait for them if I can just pick them up somewhere right away.

My girlfriend surprised me and bought it for me for Christmas.

My girlfriend is leaving for Iceland in a few weeks, specifically the capital Reykjavik where Bjork is from and lives. I’m a little jealous, but she’ll be back soon enough to tell me about it. Maybe she’ll run into Bjork while she is there and I’ll really be jealous.

I was thinking of heading to Julian for the day and so I mapped it on Google. This is what came up.

I’ve seen Skrapez perform once at an art show downtown San Diego, and that was it. But it was impressive. Dj Tenshun and his drummer I assume form Skrapez. There’s not much info out there as to who Skrapez is or where they’ll be next, but that’s also the format of their music. Hard heavy raw drums over Dj Tenshun’s precise scratches and use of feedback and heavy bass makes up most of their songs. Some are hard on the eardrum and others are amazing.

A few years ago I thought I was done Dj’ing for groups until I met up with a friend who I had gone to high school with, but never really talked to when I did. After talking some more I found out he was now in a group called Future Shock. They had gone through a few Dj’s and some I guess were just irresponsible and always late. They knew I was a trusting guy and could take care of things Dj wise so I started doing shows with Future Shock.

We did shows up and down Southern California, but I eventually had to pull out due to being unemployed and I needed something that was going to pay. They’re great guys and put out positive music. Here is a video from one of their older albums:

Not sure why I never thought of this, but these people have. It’s fairly easy, but I’m just going by the looks of it and haven’t tried it yet.

Bernie Mac died from complications of Pneumonia yesterday. His comedy will be greatly missed.
